Where is home?<\/em><\/strong>
\nI was born, raised, and currently live in Boone, North Carolina, in America.<\/p>\n

Do you write full time?<\/em><\/strong>
\nI write part time, while landscaping to support myself. But only until the novels are published!<\/p>\n

What inspired The Treasons?<\/em><\/strong>
\nIt was one of the rare stories that came to me instantly, all at once, in a lightning bolt containing the plot, characters, world, and moral. Someone else wrote it, I think, and I simply downloaded it from their consciousness, in a kind of psychic plagiarism.<\/p>\n

Did you have a particular city in mind when writing The Treasons?<\/em><\/strong>
\nNo. To me, having grown up in the mountains, they’re all the same.<\/p>\n

Do you know what happened to this world, to bring it where it is today?<\/em><\/strong>
\nNo, but there is no shortage of possible causes, everywhere around us.<\/p>\n

This reminds me quite a lot of the tone of The Dark Tower, both in setting and language. Were there any influences there?<\/em><\/strong>
\nConscious influences, no. Subconscious, surely. There were years between reading the series and writing this story, but I can, in retrospect, see parallels. Penning is a countrified Roland, it would seem.<\/p>\n

Have you written other stories within this world?<\/em><\/strong>
\nI have not.<\/p>\n

Are you working on anything right now?<\/em><\/strong>
\nAlways! Short stories of all genres, and the endless barrage of editing that burdens every writer.<\/p>\n

Where might we find more of your work?<\/em><\/strong>
\nI keep a log of publications on my blog, with links, in between commentary on my strange life.<\/p>\n
